Denver Firefighter Suspended Over Stuffed Rat

A Denver firefighter was sanctioned with a 17-day work suspension for violation of the code of conduct rules. Aaron McNally placed the stuffed rat near the sleeping quarters of another firefighter named only as “JB”. McNally’s intention was to intimidate JB for testifying in a separate disciplinary case involving a former captain of the fire station. The supposed-to-be-prank later turned out to be a serious case and went viral in the internet.
